Hair cutting not allowed to operate in Sabah.

Sabah state secretary Datuk Safar Untong said hair salons and barber shops will not be allowed to open their business during the Movement Control Order period. He said that the Sabah Government has decided not to allowed this types of business to operate because it is difficult to performe social distancing between the hairdresser and his or her clients.

Datuk Safar Untung said that the decision is under the prerogative of the Sabah Government, especially the Local Authority. Hair cutting businesses are the sector that have been announced to be allowed to reopen  but this was later retracted by Malaysia Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
